What changes in oven-style air fry mode

How it varies by air fryer

Thickness changes everything. Thin shaved slices cook much faster than grilling-cut slices, and a whole slab needs far longer.

Tips

  • Parchment in the drip tray makes the rendered fat easy to throw away.
  • Cut into the thickest piece to make sure the pork is cooked all the way through.
  • For a whole slab, use 350°F (180°C) for 30–35 minutes and flip once.

Troubleshooting

  • Lots of smoke: fat is burning near the heating element. Pour off the fat in the drip tray halfway through.
